Announce thandas as gram panchayat
Led by Congress ST cell, she launched one-day hunger strike against the government policies at Miryalaguda RDO office. Speaking on the occasion, Bharati alleged that the government is doing nothing for the development of tribes in the State and advised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to stop showing lip sympathy and implement his election promises given to tribals.

Congress ST Cell leader Ganesh Naik demanded the government announcement of Thandas as Grama Panchayats before announcing new mandals and districts. He also demanded the government implementation of three acres free land to poor tribes and 12 percent reservation to STs. The Congress ST Cell will intensify its stir across the State if the government fails to keep its election promises made to tribes, he warned. Congress ST Cell leaders Balu Naik, Ravi Naik, Mohan Naik, Kotesh Naik, Govind Naik and others participated in the programme.
