New Delhi: IT Minister K T Rama Rao said that the efforts of the State government to garner support and funds for the industrial development of Telangana were yielding fruits.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, the Minister said he had fruitful meetings with foreign dignitaries of Japan and Malaysia wherein he explained the investment potential of the State to them.

He said he had a cordial meeting with the Japanese Deputy Ambassador Yupaka Kikuta and the latter had shown keen interest in the potential of hardware industry in the State. Rama Rao said the Deputy Ambassador had promised to encourage Japanese investors to interact with the Telangana government.

The Minister added that he had been invited to tour Japan to explore the opportunities for ‘Make in India-Make in Telangana’ and would soon leave for the country with his team.

Later, he met Ahmad Zahidi Hamidi, the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and invited him to visit Telangana.
