Participating as a chief guest at the diamond jubilee celebrations of Nagarjuna Government Degree College in the town on Friday, he said students must develop the habit of questioning to enhance their knowledge.

Nalgonda:State Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy said that college life was highly enjoyable and it cannot be regained once the students graduate. College is a place where the students acquire knowledge and realise the dreams, he added.

Participating as a chief guest at the diamond jubilee celebrations of Nagarjuna Government Degree College in the town on Friday, he said students must develop the habit of questioning to enhance their knowledge.

He advised students that have exposure to the society besides excelling in their academic performance to improve confidence and leadership qualities to tackle the issues that comes in day to day life.

The Minister fondly recalled his college days and shared his experiences with the students. He explained the importance of trees in human life and urged them to participate actively in the government flagship program Haritha Haram to improve green coverage in the district. He assured them that he would do his level best for the development of the college.

Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukender Reddy said government was taking all the measures to strengthen the government institutes for the welfare of poor students. He said that government started introducing English medium in government schools in the interest of parents of village children.

MLAs Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy , Gadhari Kishore , MLC Poola Ravinder informed that they are alumni of the NG college and their political career started from here only.

As disciples of the college, they were ready to develop the college in all aspects they added.MLA Vemula Veeresham, College Principal Nagender Reddy, MGU VC Khaza Altaf Hussain, Registrar Umesh Kumar, IQAC director Anji Reddy, RJD Darjana,Staff and students of college were present.
