Along with district Minister G Jagadish Reddy, the Deputy CM has on Monday toured Yadagirigutta, Thungaturthi and Bhongir constituencies in the district.

As part of the tour, he inaugurated Sub-Registrar office and SHG building at Mothkur of Thungaturthi Assembly constituency and laid foundation stones to Sub-Registrar office buildings at Yadagirigutta and Bhongir.

In this connection, the government has decided to provide own buildings to Registration and Stamps department across the State.

As part of this plan, out of the 141 Registrar and Sub-Registrar offices in the State, the government had laid foundation stones to 91 buildings during the last two years and sufficient funds were also sanctioned for the construction of office buildings.

To maintain transparency and convenience, the government has introduced online registrations, Deputy CM Mahmood Ali stated.

The government also made Surveyor’s endorsement on the documents mandatory at the time of land registration to avoid fake registrations. Help desks in the offices have been assisting the uneducated during registrations.

District Minister G Jagadish Reddy ruled out the derogatory comments of the Opposition parties on the government on Mallanna Sagar reservoir construction.

The reservoir would provide Godavari River water to 50,000 acres in Bhongir, Aler and Thungaturthi constituencies in the district.

The government has spent Rs 35,000 crores on the developmental activities in the State during last two years, he added.
