A local Congress party leader was shot by two unknown persons in Hyderabad on Saturday. The incident took place in Bowenpally and the police informed that the Congress leader in question, Yadagiri was shot five times by miscreants.

However, after opening fire, they fled the scene while Yadagiri was immediately shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. Police officials suspect that a land dispute between the Congress leader and the miscreants could be the reason for the shooting.
