Warangal: Vignana Bharathi Anveshika Warangal unit on Sunday conducted a National Anveshika Experimental Skill Test (NAEST) for students of different schools in the district.

The test was organised at Masterji Degree College in Hanamkonda.The District Science Officer Ch Keshava Rao, Osmania University Modern Technology Physics Department Ch Srinivas and Vignana Bharathi district in-charge Ch Sanjeeva have attended the programme and addressed the students and teachers.

They informed that Vignana Bharathi Anveshika aims to encourage the culture of doing experiments. Various initiatives across India were being conducted allowing students and teachers learn science on experiment-based method.

Anveshika was essentially an open ended laboratory, where uncommon experiments and new experiments were continuously evolved as and when any idea strikes the students or the teachers. The basic objective was to inculcate scientific zeal among the teachers, they said.

Nearly 80 students from 26 schools along with teachers have attended the programme. Vignana Bharathi Warangal unit office bearers P Anandam, P Sadanandam, K Shashikaladhar, N Chandramohan, R Mogili and others were present.
