Telangana State has been chosen for the ‘Promising State of the Year’ award by CNBC-TV18 as part of the India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) instituted by the channel. In a communication to state government, CNBC-TV18 said the award would reaffirm IBLA’s commitment to encouraging business leaders. 

Telangana State has been chosen for the ‘Promising State of the Year’ award by CNBC-TV18 as part of the India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) instituted by the channel. In a communication to state government, CNBC-TV18 said the award would reaffirm IBLA’s commitment to encouraging business leaders.

The CNBC TV18 ‘India Business Leader Awards’ are considered a benchmark recognition of India’s best business leadership. The Awards are scheduled for 30th of August at The Grand New Delhi, Vasant Kunj- Phase II, New Delhi, 5.30 pm onwards. The Awards will be presided over by the Hon'ble Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley.

Minister for industries and IT KT Rama Rao will receive the award on behalf of the state government of Telangana. The awards ceremony will begin with a discussion on GST with entire North Block team of Mr. Arvind Subramanian, Mr. Ashok Lavasa, Mr. Shaktikanta Das and Dr. Hasmukh Adhia.

The CNBC will also hosting a ministerial panel later in the evening which shall have Union Ministers such as Prakash Javadekar, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Smriti Irani and Nirmala Sitharaman etc.
