Sangareddy: District Collector Ronald Rose has made it clear that allocation of government employees in the new districts that would come into existence on October 11 - Medak, Sangareddy and Siddipet - would just be a tentative allocation and that the final allocation would be done as per eligibility, seniority and other aspects later.

Speaking at a programme held by the TNGOs union to mark 70 years of formation of the organisation, at the District Collectorate here on Wednesday he reminded the government employees that with the formation of new districts expectations of the people on the administration would increase and that employees needed to work as sincerely as they started working right after the formation of Telangana in 2014.

Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, who was the Chief Guest for the event, recalled the contributions made by TNGOs during the Telangana movement in the form of achieving GO 610 and how the strategic planning and implementation of the organisation was done to make ‘Sakala Janula Samme’ a turning point for the movement for a separate state.

He cleared the air surrounding district reorganisation saying that new districts were being formed keeping in mind the future requirements of the people, population and geographical demographics and socio-economic conditions of the particular districts and mandals.

Pointing out that everybody knew how introduction of mandal system had brought access of administration to the common people; he commended the daring decision of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to reorganise districts, which was a long-pending issue.

“Philosophy of the CM is that employees and people’s representatives need to work together to make the system more efficient,” he stated.

TNGOs Central Union honorary president Devi Prasad Rao said that the organisation had approached the APNGOs regarding allocation of 1,200 Telangana employees working in Andhra Pradesh back to Telangana.

“Even though AP employees working in Telangana want to be allocated to AP, their government is not accepting them, the reason why we have approached APNGOs to interfere in this matter,” he said.
TNGOs was started in 1946 in the name of 'Hyderabad State Sarkari Mulazim Union' and had played active role in Telangana movement.
