Hyderabad: Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) chairman Ganta Chakrapani on Thursday met Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and submitted an annual report of the Commission.
Chakrapani was accompanied by other members of the Commission. Later speaking to media, Chakrapani said that the Commission has submitted the report to Governor on the recruitment drives undertaken by the Commission and the results that were announced for the exams held so far.
He said that the TSPSC recruited about 6,000 persons for various departments through various competitive exams. He said that few more recruitments were under the process and would be completed very soon. The TSPSC chief said that the Group-II results of the written exam were in final stages and would be announced soon.
He said that before the final announcement of the Group-II exams, pending recruitment process like interviews for Group-I would be completed. He said that the Governor was happy at the functioning of the Commission and had suggested it measures to improve its services.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Chairman Uday Bhaskar also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan on Thursday and submitted the annual report.
