Hyderabad: The Vice Chairman of Telangana State Planning Board, S Niranjan Reddy, urged the civil society to actively participate in building ‘Golden Telangana’.Participating as the chief guest in the induction ceremony of the newly-elected office bearers of Vasavi Club Hyderabad here on Sunday,
he said the social organisations should join the government in reconstructing Telangana State. Billakanti Suresh Kumar was elected president of Vasavi Club Hyderabad. Speaking after his election, B Suresh Kumar said the club was planning to launch several innovative programmes especially in education, skill development and social protection for vulnerable sections of the society.
The other newly elected office bearers include Uppala Vara Kumar (general secretary) and Ambarish (treasurer).
