Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) activists staged protests at Khammam district condemning Telangana TDP leader Revanth Reddy along with the Opposition parties.

The TRS leaders extended their support to the state government which is taking up many welfare schemes for the farmers and asked Revanth Reddy to protest against the Central government instead of criticizing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Responding to the remarks, Revanth Reddy challenged Ministers Harish Rao and Tummala Nageswara Rao to come to Khammam market yard without security adding that the Chilli farmers would teach Telangana government a lesson.

Stating that the Telangana police arrested farmers who are the members of TRS, the TDP leader said that they are poor Dalits and requested the government to save Chilli farmers from losses in stead of attacking them.

HE further claimed that the state government is bringing in the Central government into the issue just to escape from the situation instead of finding a solution.
