The Hyderabad District Minority Welfare Department would induct 263 out-sourcing employees for which it conducted job interviews on Tuesday. Md Zahuruddin, Administrative Officer of the Collectorate said, “Out of 121 minority schools in the State, we have 31 schools in our city which have 263 vacancies like junior assistant, senior assistant, superintendent, data entry operators, security guards, housekeeping staff, office subordinates, electrician and plumbers.”

Though the process was done smoothly, some candidates faced hardship due to lack of coordination. Syed Asif, candidate, said, “I have registered through online and submitted my CV and received a message to attend the interview.

I have been waiting since 8 am but my turn did not come up.” The recruitment drive was conducted by SR Shankaran HR services limited, which was chosen by the District Collector based on its reputation in the market. Nearly 700 candidates were formally selected after a written examination.

A selection committee headed by C G Satish Chandra already completed 120 interviews so far. The selection process is being done as per the State rules of reservations and the final selection list would be announced soon.
