75 huts gutted in fire in Yadagirigutta

As many as 75 huts were gutted in a fire accident at Yadadri development area in Yadagirigutta on Saturday. According to the victims, who were working for Sun Shine\'s Sai Pavani construction company and residing near the development area, the workers came to work as per their usual schedule in the morning.

According to the victims, who were working for Sun Shine's Sai Pavani construction company and residing near the development area, the workers came to work as per their usual schedule in the morning. They said that the fire broke out in a hut and spread to other huts in no time. Victims said they lost about Rs 15 lakh worth assets including money, gold, two cows and Aadhaar cards in the fire. Victims demanded that the construction company pay compensation. The workers hailed from West Bengal, Odisha and Bihar. Police and Revenue officials visited the spot and recorded statements for future course of action.
