Miyapur land scam: Kodandaram demands CBI probe
Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram on Thursday demanded the state government to issue a CBI inquiry into the Miyapur land registration scam and alleged the Telangana government was attempting to escape from extending help to the displaced people.

Addressing the media, Kondaram informed that the Telangana government had issued a GO No 123 but he in turn, asked the government not to acquire lands from the farmers without their consent. Also, he advised the farmers not to give in to the government's demands or pressure and refuse to sign the papers.
Taking a stand that the JAC would support the farmers and even offer legal aid, Professor Kodandaram said that they would be organizing a meeting at Delhi shortly regarding the forceful land acquisition by the Telangana government.
