The term of the first Standing Committee of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) came to an end on Thursday under the chairmanship of Mayor Bonthu Rammohan. GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy, along with other senior officials of the civic body participated in the last meeting of Standing Committee on Thursday.
Hyderabad: The term of the first Standing Committee of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) came to an end on Thursday under the chairmanship of Mayor Bonthu Rammohan. GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy, along with other senior officials of the civic body participated in the last meeting of Standing Committee on Thursday.
Bonthu Rammohan said the Standing Committee held 20 meetings and approved 229 agenda items to the tune of Rs 5,643 crore and various development works were approved unanimously. Every agenda item was discussed in detail and decisions were taken and sanctions accorded. The Mayor thanked and felicitated all 15 Standing Committee members for their cooperation in all the meetings held during the year.
