Addressing the media here on Sunday, Sudhakar Reddy said the farmers have been expressing their ire across the nation. Alleging that RBI Governor was giving “useless” advices, Ponguleti demanded that the State government bring out Seed Act. He said the government has been conducting farmers survey only to set up farmers associations. He said that irregularities took place in Khammam District Cooperative Bank and alleged that the banks have collected several hundreds of rupees from farmers.

The Farmer Welfare Fund (FWF) was diverted and the government was spending it as it wished without conducting executive body meeting, he said and demanded that the government order a comprehensive inquiry into the fund.

He said it was not proper on the part of BJP chief Amit Shah to make atrocious comments against the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. “Nobody would forgive Amit Shah for making comments like Nathuram Godse. He demanded that Amit Shah withdraw his remarks against Mahathma Gandhi.
