Another drug racket busted
While the SIT has been grilling popular film director Puri Jagannath in connection with the drug peddling case, the Hyderabad police busted another drug racket on Wednesday.
Hyderabad: While the SIT has been grilling popular film director Puri Jagannath in connection with the drug peddling case, the Hyderabad police busted another drug racket on Wednesday.
The task force arrested nine persons, including two Nigerians on Wednesday and seized 300 grams of cocaine, 42 grams MDMA (methylenedioxy-methamphetamine) and 27 blots of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) from their possession.
A car and an airgun were also seized from the accused by the sleuths of the Commissioner's Task Force. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has so far arrested 13 drug peddlers, who were supplying drugs to students and Tollywood celebrities.
Those arrested in this case include US citizen Dundu Anish, an aerospace engineer who had earlier worked with the NASA, and seven B.Tech graduates, most of whom were working for multinational companies.
