Speaking at a meeting here on Sunday, he said though the government trumpets that it had sanctioned Rs 100 crore, city has not witnessed any development in the last three years.
People still face hardships due to drainage and sanitation problems, he said, criticising the civic body. He alleged that civic body was engaged in a game of one-upmanship rather than focusing on issues faced by the people.
Senior leaders Punnam Venkateswarlu, Buggaveeti Sarala, Yerra Srikanth, Yerra Srinivasa Rao, Y Vikram, Sameena Afroz, Jabbar and Narra Ramesh were among others present.
