Congress leader DK Aruna slammed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao over the injustice being meted out to the Uddandapuram farmers with regard to Palamur Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Scheme.
The Congress leader visted the Chief Minister's camp office along with the farmers to meet KCR on the matter and handed over a request letter as the CM was not present in the office.
Demanding to reduce the height of the reservoir in Uddandapuram, she also urged the government to provide Rs 15 to 25 lakhs compensation to each farmer.
Questioning the reason behind compensation not given to the Palamur farmers unlike other districts, DK Aruna further warned that she would approach court if the Palamur farmers don't get justice.
