TRS dubs Congress party's Sircilla agitation as drama

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has strongly condemned the visit of former Speaker of Lok Sabha Meira Kumar to Sircilla as 'political drama.'
Addressing a press conference at TRS Legislature Party office on Tuesday, Government Whip in Legislative Council P. Rajeshwar Rao alleged that the Telangana Congress leaders misled Meira Kumar on the Sircilla incident.
He said that the TRS Government was taking stern action against the sand mafia which was evident from the increase in State's revenues through sand mining. He said the conditions in Sircilla were completely normal and the Congress leaders only enacted a 'drama' to draw political mileage.
Meanwhile, TRS MLA G. Balaraju alleged that the Congress leaders were shedding crocodile tears for Dalits and expressing fake sympathy. He said that the TRS Government has being working hard for the welfare of Dalits in the State.
