Hyderabad Metro Rail to be operational in January

The Telangana Government has decided to speed-up the Hyderabad Metro Rail project works and the services will become operational from January 3rd 2018 onwards.
The Telangana Government has decided to speed-up the Hyderabad Metro Rail project works and the services will become operational from January 3rd 2018 onwards.
The project will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The first phase metro will be between Nagole and Begumpet with Miyapur – SR Nagar and Nagole – Mettuguda routes likely to be operational.
Both the routes have been ready for more than a year ago and 58 metro rails are already brought to Hyderabad.
The Hyderabad Metro Rail project should have been completed by July 4, 2017 but due to the constant delays from the Telangana Government over handing the necessary land and the route alignment issues, the project deadline has been pushed.
