Governor greets people on 71st Independence Day

Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Monday conveyed his greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the occasion of 71st Independence Day.

“Independence Day is a day of remembrance as well as of dedication. Remembrance of all those great patriots whose sacrifices made it possible for us to enjoy the fruits of freedom and dedication to the noble ideals of truth, non-violence, peace, solidarity and brotherhood which inspired our national struggle for freedom. On this auspicious day, we all pledge ourselves to the cause of nation building,” the Governor said in his message.

The Governor has conveyed his “warm and patriotic wishes” and hoped that this Independence Day would become truly memorable.
