DMHO to issue memos to PHC doctors

Hyderabad: The Minister for Health C Laxma Reddy has directed the Nagarkurnool District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) to issue memos to the doctors of Amanagal Primary Health Centre (PHC), who were found absent when he visited on Monday.

The public said that the PHC had five doctors, but they were attending the duties in shifts as per their convenience. The public complained to the Minister that the X-Ray and Lab facilities were not available there. The PHC building became old and there was no drinking water facility to the patients, they said. The Minister assured them the issues would be resolved at the earliest.
