Hyderabad: Chief Secretary S.P. Singh has directed the heads of all departments to include details of land holdings under their respective wings with the Revenue Department as part of ongoing land survey in Telangana State.

The Chief Secretary held a review meeting with the senior officials of various departments at the State Secretariat on Friday. The meeting was attended by Special Chief Secretaries Ajay Sharma (Energy) and B. R. Meena (Revenue), Municipal Administration Secretary Naveen Mittal, HMDA Commissioner Chiranjeevulu, Panchayat Raj Commissioner Neetu Prasad, Education Dept Joint Secretary Vijay Kumar, Education Director Kishan, Land Survey Mission Director Karuna and other senior officials of Roads & Buildings, Industries, Irrigation and Transco departments.

Addressing the meeting, the Chief Secretary asked the officials to submit details of land holdings of their department at the village level to the concerned District Collectors. He said details of Railways, National Highways, Telecom, Power Grid and other institutions should also be included in the survey. Further, he said the names of donors who gave land for Shamshan Ghat should also be given. Schools, market yards, go downs and roads and other details should be included.
