Hyderabad: The TRS has asked the State BJP unit to first seek clarifications from the national party before criticising the TRS government.

At a press conference in city on Tuesday, MLC Karne Prabhakar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Central Ministers have praised several programmes of the TRS government and the Prime Minister even said that Mission Bhagiratha was an inspiration to the country and all States should emulate such schemes. The Prime Minister, he said, had recently written a letter to the Minister for Municipal Administration K T Rama Rao appreciating the efforts of Swachh Telangana.

In the backdrop of such a situation, it sounds ridiculous that the State BJP goes on criticising the State government. What is shocking is that even senior leaders like Ram Madhav were talking without proper knowledge about the schemes being implemented by the State government.

“He should know that schemes like Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya are State government-run programmes and the State gets no funds from Centre,’’ Prabhakar added.

The TRS leader said that the BJP was day-dreaming about coming to power in Telangana. The statement by Ram Madhav that the doors of BJP were open for good people makes it clear that there are no good people in BJP and hence they are inviting people from outside, he said.

The TRS leader alleged that no one would want to join BJP in the State. The BJP had failed to live up to its promise of bringing black money stashed in foreign countries within 100 days of coming to power, it made people to suffer with its note ban decision. He asked the BJP leader as to how much additional the Centre had given to Telangana apart from the routine help.
