Hyderabad: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President and MP Asaduddin Owaisi extolled Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for opening minority residential schools in the State.

In the review meeting on Minority welfare conducted by Chief Minister here on Monday, the MP said several Muslim families were eager to send their children to the residential Institutions. The teaching facilities, food and accommodations in the hostels are good.


The MP said that the residential schools being set up at the initiative of the Chief Minister were nothing but a revolutionary step and within next 10 years they would usher in a social revolution.

KCR informed Owaisi that besides several crores of rupees being utilised for the minorities’ welfare, the setting up of residential educational institutions has given him more satisfaction. There is no property worth other than giving good education to the future generations.

KCR told the MP he is getting requests from the MLAs for more schools and sections. The management of the Jamia Nizamia thanked the Chief Minister for agreeing to accord government recognition to the courses offered by the Institute.

Deputy CM Mahamood Ali, Ministers KT Rama Rao, Eatala Rajender, MP Asaduddin Owaisi, AIMIM Legislature party leader Akbarudddin Owaisi and other state officials participated in the meeting.
