Kothagudem: Noted poet and retired Telugu pandit, also known as Abhinava Molla, Chakravarthula Lakshmi Narasamma from Bhadrachalam was selected for the Best woman award. On the account of National Women’s Day, the State government has announced the best women in various departments.
Lakshmi Narasamma was selected for the award for her services to literacy field. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Women Welfare Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao will present the award to her on March 8 at a programme in Hyderabad. She told The Hans India that she was very happy to get the award and thanked the CM, Minister Tummala and Cultural Advisor Ramana chary for selecting her for the award.
