Seminar on ‘Teaching Methodologies in Japanese Language Education’
The Department of Asian Studies, The English and Foreign Languages University, organised one- day national seminar on ‘Teaching Methodologies in Japanese Language Education’ here on Thursday.
Osmania University: The Department of Asian Studies, The English and Foreign Languages University, organised one- day national seminar on ‘Teaching Methodologies in Japanese Language Education’ here on Thursday.
Prof E Suresh Kumar, Vice Chancellor of EFL University, in his inaugural address underscored the need for deliberation on the methods of teaching and learning the language through scientific and rapid learning methods. Given the extensive demand for Japanese language, Prof Suresh emphasised on promoting the teaching of Japanese language at the university as it widens career prospects for the students.
The keynote speaker for the event was Prof Nirupama Rasthogi, former Dean of the School of Asian Studies. The seminar was attended by scores of research scholars and faculty members from Delhi University, JNU, Deccan College (Pune), Japanese Foundation (Chennai), Doon University (Dehradun) IIT (Chennai) and Indo-Japanese Association (Pune).
