Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed anger on party leaders for not making proper arrangements of audio and air conditioning system at the party plenary organised on the occasion of the party’s 17th formation day.

Soon after he arrived the venue, the TRS chief asked his party leader Basavaraju Saraiah to deliver the welcome address. After the conclusion of Saraiah’s speech, Chandrashekar Rao questioned the organisers for poor audio system.

The TRS chief expressed displeasure on the arrangements saying, “Is this party meeting or a circus?” Organisers immediately swung into action and set the audio system on track. Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari was forced to rise from his seat and run to air conditioners and high voltage lighting system installed on the dais and switch them off. Plenary organising committee chairman Palla Rajeshwar Reddy faced the music from Chandrashekar Rao for his failure in arranging facilities intact.

Earlier, Chandrashekar Rao kick-started the pre-launch session after one hour delay as he arrived at the venue at 11.30 am. He unfurled the TRS flag and paid floral tributes to Telangana Talli and Martyrs Memorial before the beginning of the plenary.
