Hyderabad : Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the Revenue official machinery that they shall not rest until and unless the distribution of Pattadar Pass Books, Rythu Bandhu cheques and the land records rectification process is cent percent successfully completed.

The Chief Minister said that after keeping it updated as on today all the details pertaining to land sales and purchases and recording all of them, the pass books to all the eligible farmers are to be distributed. He also said that all the mistakes that appear in some of the pass books need to be corrected and rectified. He also expressed his un-happiness over some mistakes that are appearing in some entries as well as incomplete information in few cases despite land records purification and rectification done spanning over hundred days. He also expressed unhappiness that there are couple of technical faults and also human errors causing inconvenience to farmers. He also said some of the farmers are yet to receive their passbooks.

KCR told the officers that taking into consideration the gigantic task that has been undertaken, there may be some possibilities for committing few mistakes and in this back drop they should take this as a challenge and work with more accuracy. Due to reorganization of districts and formation of small districts it has become easy for the collectors to more effectively supervise and this has to be viewed as a favourable one and continue to discharge duties with more commitment.

The Chief Minister said that from next month the new registration policy will come into effect and also the farmers' insurance scheme and as such it is all the necessary to keep the land records updated and properly maintained. He said how this would be possible, unless the land records rectification and updation is perfectly done and land ownership is exactly decided.

He also said that it is a fact that some problems have cropped in and it does not mean that we get discouraged but instead to proceed with successful completion of issue of passbooks and cheque books for which the collectors are to be geared up more effectively.

The Chief Minister held a high level review meeting on Pattadar Pass Books and distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques issue in Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday. Speaker S. Madhusudhana Chary, Deputy Chief Ministers, Ministers, Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi, Senior officers and collectors participated.

KCR elicited information on district wise distribution of cheque books and pass books, how many received them, how many yet to receive, reasons for not issuing to them as well as measures to be initiated to issue pass books and cheque books to all farmers as scheduled.
