Nagarkurnool/Wanaparthy: One person was killed on the spot when he accidentally came in contact with a live 11KV line at Boreddypally village in Nallamalla Forest region underAmarabad mandal on Monday.
According to police, Venkataiah (65) of Kottur under Bhootpur mandal in Mahbubnagar district came in contact with a live wire when he passed under low-hanging 11 KV electrical line on his way from Munnanur to Vatavarlapally. The police sent the body for post-mortem.
In an another case, three persons were injured when two bikes collided head-on at Marikunta petrol pump near Srinivasapuram village under Wanaparthy mandal. The condition of two of three injured is stated to be critical.
