Collector directs Special Officers to promote govt schemes

Bhongir: District Collector Anitha Ramachandran here on Tuesday exhorted the Gram Panchayat Special Officers to follow the government instructions and strive hard for the development of villages The Collector was participating in awareness programme conducted for the Special Officers on their duties and responsibilities.
Addressing the officials , Anitha Ramachandran directed officers to discharge their duties with responsibility. They should strive for development of villages. She advised officials to prepare comprehensive plans for the development of villages as the 14th Finance Commission would be transferred to the panchayats.
She asked the officials to play a key role in implementing government flagship programmes like Kanti Velugu , promotion of schemes meant for people belonging to the Backward Classes, Rythu Beema etc. The Collector instructed the officials to participate in Haritha Haram programme.
