Speaking on the occasion, Congress leader P Nageswara Rao alleged that it is the Congress party which had given political entry to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Not only that the Congress party alone stood for the cause of separate Telangana movement and its pressure on other parties played a key role in giving separated statehood for Telangana people.

Interestingly, a day after Congress President Rahul Gandhi attacked the TRS-led Telangana government stating that Telangana is exploited by family-rule and corruption is rampant, Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, KT Rama Rao took to Twitter to hit back at him.

“You talk about corruption Rahul Ji? Look around on the Dias; half the people sitting next to you are out on bail !! Some in CBI cases & others in corruption cases Oh, I forgot it’s the “Scamgress” party A for Adarsh B for Bofors C for Commonwealth..... Want me to go on Sir?? (sic), KTR said.

The Congress laughed at the minister’s comment and said that he did not know the party. Without having much knowledge about the Congress party which is having great history behind it, the IT Minister K T Rama Rao made comments against AICC president Rahul Gandhi, Nageswara Rao said.

He reminded KTR how his father KCR and his entire family bowed their head on the feet of Sonia Gandhi praising her after formation of Telangana. He warned the KTR and other TRS leaders not to use unparliamentary language against Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. The people are watching every move of the TRS party and its leaders and ready to teach fitting lesson in upcoming elections, he added.

The Congress party leaders P Durga Prasad, Charan Reddy, Md. Tajuddin, Md. Fazal, K Venkatarathnam, Chota Baba, P Venkateshwarlu, M Narendar, Bharat Kumar Reddy, G Jhansi, K Bhavani, Md. Isaac, Ramdasu Naik, P Mallaiah, N Naresh, M Shekar Goud, S K Zaheer, Md.
