Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has appealed to the public to submit online applications seeking development permissions from Monday 9.30 am onwards. In view of technical issues, the HMDA shifted its server to SDC (State Data Centre).

Due to this, the HMDA had stopped accepting fresh applications of online building permissions or any online payments under LRS scheme from August 9, onwards. The heavily secured SDC hosts servers of various government wings and freshly HMDA has joined the list.

According to sources, the decision to move HMDA server, presently hosted in HMDA main office in Tarnaka, to SDC was taken after an attack of a variant of ransomware a few weeks ago.
