MBT spokesman Amjed Ullah Khan on Thursday asked the City Police Commissioner to initiate action against unscrupulous elements harassing goat traders at Bhoiguda market

Chanchalguda: MBT spokesman Amjed Ullah Khan on Thursday asked the City Police Commissioner to initiate action against unscrupulous elements harassing goat traders at Bhoiguda market. In a representation to City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, the MBT leader alleged that about three businessmen involved in goat selling at Bhoiguda market for over a decade were being threatened and were not being allowed to do business by some men.

On August 2, these traders who were facing harassment for some time approached Gandhi Nagar police station for help and later, also represented the matter to the commissioner of police. Rather than taking action against these men they alleged that the SI of Gandhi Nagar turned against them for taking the matter with the City Commissioner. The policeman in the question rather initiating action had threatened to file counter cases against the goat traders. “They approached me for help in doing business safely there. Kindly take necessary action on their complaint and check why the SI started harassing them,” he asked the Commissioner.

In the complaint submitted to the City Commissioner earlier by the traders Tajuddin, Burhanuddin, Allauddin and Abdul Rab, they tried to explain that they were facing new kinds of hardships for the first time, even though they were into business for the last 15 years. “In the market we are facing severe problems with Robert Steven, Naveen and Vijay who were not allowing us to do our business. They were always fighting, abusing and threatening us very badly. They want to create all false cases on us and disturb the business,” they alleged.
