Family petitions Lokayukta on litigation land
A family from Hyderabad approached Lokayukta on a piece of land at Necklace road, which the family claims was rewarded to their grandfather Hazari Khaji, who worked as an officer in Nizams army, by the erstwhile Nizam
Hyderabad: A family from Hyderabad approached Lokayukta on a piece of land at Necklace road, which the family claims was rewarded to their grandfather Hazari Khaji, who worked as an officer in Nizam’s army, by the erstwhile Nizam. They said that 26 acres near Necklace road was given to Hazari and the then Hyderabad state government had grabbed their land. Since then the family has been fighting for justice. The family members said that they had petitioned all the previous chief ministers, right from Burgula Ramkrishna Rao to the present CM KCR but none has delivered them justice.
They approached High Court for justice and the case is still pending. They are a worried lot as the government is taking up development activities in the same litigation land. They said that they have all the legal documents related to land and will fight till they get justice.
