Training for election staff commences

Vikarabad: District Collector Syed Omar Jaleel started a training program for district officials who are assigned with election duties here at the Collector’s office on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he advised the officials to get thorough understanding on election process and perform their election duties efficiently.

As part of training, election staff will be trained in various aspects of elections: Sudhakar Reddy, DRO Medchal, will give training on model code of conduct; Kautilya, DRDO Medchal, will explain the conduct of elections; Praveen Kumar Reddy, AD mines, Rangareddy District, will train staff in managing plans; Jackson, DRDO Vikarabad District, will brief them on mapping; Madhusudhan Reddy, scientist DIO, will explain postal ballots and review of IT applications; and Rajeshwar Reddy and Hanmanth Rao will teach them how to handle nomination forms, withdrawal of nominations and allocation of symbols. Joint Collector Aruna Kumara, DRP Motilal, election officials and staff were present on the occasion.
