Gajwel: Vanteru Prathap Reddy, the Congress leader who is most likely to be the candidate contesting against caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, has intensified his campaign. He visited several villages in Tupran mandal on Wednesday as part of election campaign. He was given a grand welcome at Islampur village.

Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that KCR had destroyed the economy of Telangana. He warned that people would lose the existing benefits if KCR returned to power. He alleged that TRS was trying to pump large amounts of money into the constituency to garner votes. Pratap Reddy also visited Venkata Ratnapur and Dhatarpalli villages. Among those participated in the campaign include former MPTC B Sathyanarayana Goud, Mahender Reddy, Bhaskar Reddy, Srinivas Goud, Sriramulu, Prabhakar Reddy
and others.
