Kukatpally: The residents in and around Kukatpally are living in fear as the number of dengue cases are increasing by the day. An entomologist from GHMC, Uday said that cases of viral fever, malaria, typhoid and ENT diseases are common during this season and that the department was taking measures to curb viral infections. "Eight to ten dengue cases were reported in my jurisdiction in last one month," he said. Private hospitals and clinics in Kukatpally and surrounding areas such as Hydernagar and Nizampet are filled with patients. There is an unprecedented rush at diagnostic centres as well as doctors refer patients for blood test.
