Pig found dead; carcass not removed

Jeedimetla: Filthy conditions still prevail in this part of the city and officials are yet to wake to the alarming scenario despite possibility of viral fevers, dengue and swine flu etc. Commuters on the Jeedimetla-Shapur Nagar road are facing hardships with the pungent smell oozing out of a dead pig.

“When complained to sanitation officials, they said that the area doesn’t come under their limits. Sanitary supervisor Raju said that he was out of station for four days and said he would inform the staff,” they added. The commuters and passersby urge officials concerned to come to their aid and save them from falling prey to deadly diseases.
