Three leading masters athletes from Mahbubnagar district have been selected to represent India at the Masters Athletes Competition to be held at Jakarta in Indonesia on October 28
Mahbubnagar: Three leading masters’ athletes from Mahbubnagar district have been selected to represent India at the Masters Athletes Competition to be held at Jakarta in Indonesia on October 28.
Announcing this, Narender, president of Telangana Masters Athletics Federation of India (TMAFI), said, ‘it is a great privilege to inform that 3 leading athletic players from Mahabubnagar district have been selected by the TMAFI to represent India in the events of 100 and 200 meters running, Discuss throw and Hammer throw competitions at Jakarta in Indonesia. “
Among the three, two of them are man one is women. “Three players namely Vani Prem, Dr Prem Kumar and Chandrasekhar have been selected from Mahbubnagar district to represent India at Masters Athletics Competition to be held in Indonesia,” informed the TMAFI president.
Dr.Premkumar and Vani Prem will take part in running of 100 and 200 meters. Another athlete Chandrasekhar Goud who is representing as a coach and manager for the team is also participating discuss and hammer throw competitions.
