Hyderabad: The All Unions and Associations of BSNL (ABAU) has threatened to go on strike if their demands were not settled before November 30, 2018. The date of strike will be decided in due course. This was stated here today by J Sampath Rao, General Secretary, BSNLEU, Telangana Circle, I Satyanarayana, K Ram Mohan and others.
They regretted that though the Union Minister of State for Communications Manoj Sinha had given assurances in February last, not even one of them was implemented so far even after eight months, and this has forced them to take up agitations. They have decided to hold dharnas at CHQ/Circle and district levels on October 30 and organize rallies at Circle and District levels on November 14, in support of their5 demands.
Third Pay Revision for BSNL employees, Implementation of Government rules in the matter of Pension contribution, allotment of 4G Spectrum to BSNL as proposed by BSNL management, Pension revision for the employees and settlement of issues left out in the Second Pay Revision are among their demands.
