Khammam: The Two Town CPM secretary Y Vikram on Friday appealed to the people not to vote for TRS party and its candidates who deceived the people with hollow promises. A meeting of party leaders was held under the leadership of Machha Suryam at the party office in Khammam.

Addressing the meeting, Y Vikram alleged that some leaders who won on other parties’ tickets shifted their loyalties and joined the TRS government for their own benefits and are now deceiving the people claiming they joined the pink party for the development of their region and constituency.

The Khammam TRS party nominee, Puvvada Ajay Kumar who won on the Congress ticket joined the ruling party but did nothing for the development of the city, he added.

Ajay did not solve any issue of the people till date, right from the construction of railway under bridge to sanctioning of double bedroom houses to the eligible shelterless poor people, he added.

He urged people to vote for the CPM and BLF candidates who are fighting for solving the problems of the people and are their side. The TRS must be taught a befitting lesson by defeating it in the ensuing elections.

CPM leaders N Ramesh, B Venkat Kumar, Upendra Naik, S K Hussain, B Sudharshan, Ch Veerabhadram, J Venkanna Babu and G Bheemaiah were present on the occasion.
