Musheerabad: The members of Dharna Chowk Protection Committee celebrated on Wednesday expressing joy over High court’s interim ruling that removed the ban imposed by the state government on staging protests at Dharna Chowk for six months.
Professor Vishweshwar Rao, CPI state leader Dr Sudhakar, Vimalakka, people’s poet Gaddar and Sanjay celebrated the occasion by distributing sweets at Dharna Chowk.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that it was a victory of democracy. They praised Vishweshwar Rao and his team for their unyielding fight against the ban.
They described the event as a beginning of feudal and autocratic rule of KCR. Vimalakka said that court ruling is an illustration of the fact that democracy is still alive.
