Vivekanand mounts campaign in colonies

Jagadgirigutta: TRS candidate from Quthubullapur constituency KP Vivekanand on Friday took up campaigning in several colonies in the division, along with local corporator Jagan. He went door-to-door explaining the welfare schemes taken up by the ruling party. Addressing the residents of Beerappanagar, Vivekanand, while expressing confidence of winning the December 7 polls, said gaining a majority was his aim. He pointed out that the welfare schemes of the TRS government have become models in the country, with public representatives and officials from other States hailing them as also caretaker Chief Minister K Chandraseskhar Rao.

Leaders Marayya, Jaihind, Venumadhav, Venugopal, Papi Reddy, Sudhakar Rao, Mallesh Goud, Srinivas, Rudra Ashok, Ramakrishna, Sagar, Hazarat Ali, Shashi, Babu Goud, Sashidhar, Ward member Papul Goud, Mohmmad, Mahender, Suvarna, Srinivas, Khaleel, Varalakshmi, Latha, Renuka, Sujata, Sudha and Mallikamba were present. Vivekanand contended that people were not believing the nominees of the opposition parties who were seeking to mislead them. He claimed that the people had complete faith in the TRS welfare schemes, which were viewed as not implementable. For this the credit should go to KCR, he asserted.

Booth-level meeting

At the booth-level committee meeting in Metro function hall, Gajularamaram division, convened by corporator Ravula Seshagiri Rao, MLC Sambipur Rraju, Vivekanand and TRS State senior leader K M Pratap attended. They called upon the party activists to work with the aim of securing a highest majority for the TRS nominee. Those present included TRS leaders Kasturi Balraj, Hussain, Indrasen Gupta, Madhav Reddy, Prudvi, Ward member Lal Mohammad, Maqsud.
