Sunil Edla hailing from Medak distirct in Telangana has been shot dead in Ventnor city in New Jersey
A 61-year-old man hailing from Medak district in Telangana was shot dead by a 16-year-old boy in New Jersey on Thursday around 8 pm.
Sunil Edla who is working as a night auditor in the hospitality industry in Atlantic City was killed by the minor at his residence in Ventnor city while heading to his office.
According to the reports, the accused fired gun at him and fled the spot in a car. Sunil died on the spot. However, the Ventnor police caught hold of the boy on Friday.
Sunil had moved to the US in 1987. He was to return to India later this month to visit his family in Medak. It is also learned that he also made all the arrangements for his India visit to celebrate his mother's 95th birthday.
