LB Nagar: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat on Sunday advised the department personnel to protect their health in view of the increasing stress in their work, after inaugurating a free medical screening camp in the Amberpet CAR Headquarters, set up by Yashoda Hospital and Agarwal Eye Hospital. Speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration, Bhagwat, along with Additional Commissioner Sudhir Babu, pointed out that the work pressure would increase for police personnel during elections. Hence, there was a need for them to be alert.

At the camp doctors screened police personnel and advised the participants to utilise health cover if they had any problems, to get free treatment. Those who attended the camp included CRPF and RPF personnel deployed for election duty. Over 500 police personnel availed the tests conducted at the camp. Among those present at the camp were Malkajgiri DCP Umamaheswara Sarma, Additional DCPs, ACPs, besides the Rachakonda Commissionerate personnel.
