Hyderabad: Candidates in Mahakutami parties will be competing with each other in nearly ten segments in Telangana assembly elections. Congress has already issued B forms to its candidates in six segments that were earlier okayed to alliance partners-TDP and TJS.

This include Ibrahimpatnam, Huzurabad and Patancheru where TDP candidates have geared up to contest the election. Former MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy has lobbied with Congress high command and eventually got its nod to contest from Ibrahimpatnam, which was earlier promised to TDP.

Likewise Congress and TJS have fielded party candidates in Warangal(East), Dubbaka and Miryalaguda. Also, TDP and TJS are both in fray for Mahabubnagar assembly segment.

With November 19 (Monday) being the last day for filing of nominations, friendly contest segment number is likely to increase further.
