Flag march conducted in Begum Bazar
In view of assembly elections and to build up confidence among public for peaceful elections, a flag march was conducted by Shahinyathgunj police in the limits of Goshamahal division on Thursday
Begum Bazar: In view of assembly elections and to build up confidence among public for peaceful elections, a flag march was conducted by Shahinyathgunj police in the limits of Goshamahal division on Thursday. The city police have been taking up flag march in Old City particularly in the areas having sensitive polling stations. The flag march on Thursday was conducted on the instructions of Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar.
Under the supervision of Inspector of Police R Kalinga Rao and Additional Inspector K Nagaiah, a police force of Shahinyathgunj police station, along with Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) personnel, took out the flag march. Around 100 policemen participated in the flag march. During the flag march, the Inspector interacted with the locals and made them aware of strong measures underway to ensure a conducive atmosphere for free and fair polls.
