Somajiguda: “Feudal Lord Visnoor Ramachandra Reddy is born as CM K Chandrashekar Rao, said the Convenor for Telangana Rythu JAC, Ravi Kanneganti, while addressing a press meet on manifestos of various political parties here on Tuesday.

Kanneganti said the CM had failed to implement poll promises of three acres of land to Dalits, double bedroom houses, crop insurance and others. He took a dig at the TRS government for ignoring tenant farmers, while implementing Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema schemes.

Member of Rythu Swarajya Vedika Kirankumar Vissa said there are 15 lakh tenant farmers in the state who were ignored by the state government in all fronts. Kiran demanded that the new government implement the 2011 Land Act. He requested the tenant farmers to exercise their votes to defeat the TRS party.

B Kondal of Rythu Swarajya Vedika flayed TRS party for failing to mention schemes for tenant farmers in their manifesto. He said they had requested the government to implement welfare schemes for the welfare of the tenant farmers on number of occasions. Kondal said they even met manifesto committee chairman and MP K Keshava Rao in this regard.
He said rich farmers were getting the benefit of Rythu Bandhu, instead of tenant farmers. Kondal said they were reaching out the tenant farmers with a message to defeat the TRS in ensuing elections.

The TRS government had failed to issue even 10,000 Loan Eligibility Cards (LEC) to recognised tenant farmers, said Telangana Raitanga Samiti member Dharampal.
The members said they took out a motor yatra covering seven districts for three days to sensitise the tenant farmers about their rights over the land.
